I am a design and marketing professional with passion for helping
entrepreneurs succeed in marketing their businesses.
I grew up in London Ontario and was from the age of 3 was frequently found
helping my father
with various jobs in his design studio at home as well as the firm he
worked at in London.
I majored in high school in Graphic Arts and won awards both years for
highest standing design student.
I attended Fanshawe College and finished year one of Advertising Art and
went on to
work as a graphic designer at Kwik Kopy Printing. After 2 years I took on
the position
of managing a second location.
In 1993 when I became pregnant with my son Ricardo I decided to Work from
home in London and started my own design business which quickly grew
based on referrals from satisfied customers.
In 2005 after we moved to a small hobby farm in Lucan, Ontaio
my passion lead me to form an organization called Women of Today Inc.,
a networking group for women along with
a friend and colleague Pauline Hoffman. Pauline went on to pursue building
her business
Just In Time Solutions, a professional organizing business that quickly
grew leaps and bounds.
When Pauline made this difficult decision I decided to continue running
Women of Today.
In March, 2010 together with Alison Empey, the new President phased
it into a Business Support Group focusing on our specialties and
4 aspects which are business consulting, marketing coaching, networking
support
and personal growth.
I gained an interest in the publishing business and have published several
publications from
small newspapers and magazines.
I continue happily working from home on our 50 acre goat farm in Ilderton,
Ontario
running both Women of Today which has gone global
and my design and marketing business specializing in my marketing action
coaching.
